Review of Batman: The Killing Joke (2016) by Jason A — 24 Jul 2016

Fans of the graphic novel and iconic 90s animated series will enjoy this adaptation, which fully embraces it's R rating. The first 30 mins provide a much needed back story for the Batgirl character.

Some fans may not like the liberties the writers have taken with the relationship between Bats and Barbara but it a creative decision I enjoyed. The animation and character design is top notch. I missed a title sequence, and thought the subdued score was a missed opportunity.
