Review of Batman: The Killing Joke (2016) by Jim F — 05 Jan 2017

This was not what I expected. For some reason I had thought that Killing Joke was the story of when Joker killed Robin, but Jason isn't in this story. In fact its more of a Batgirl story than anything.

It was generally good, as all the DC Direct DVD films are, but I'm not clear why Batgirl and Batman had to go at it, but what really left this film to only 3 stars is the movies ending was very anticlimactic.

Other reviewers indicating that the film had several deviations from source material makes me think the graphic novel may still be worth reading.
