Review of Batman: The Killing Joke (2016) by Josh A D — 24 Jul 2016
The first 30-40 minutes of the movie has nothing to do with The Killing Joke. It's just a Batgirl prequel with an out of character Batman and Batgirl sex scene (probably Bruce Timm's idea the dude is kind of a perve).
Not to mention there is an extremely offensive stereotypical gay character. But the second half of the film is not bad and Mark Hamill's performance is great and the dialog is great too. It has some changes to the comic, but the added Joker moments work fine.
In otherwords, it's half of a great movie.
