Review of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2 (2013) by Maruf H — 13 Jan 2013
It's more like part 2 of the previous film plus another short, but it all plays out in the end over a thin, somewhat confusing connection. Superman's immortality is known but Bruce Wayne's is curious, as he only ages in appearance and not in actual physicality and motor skills.
Part 2 follows the same epic proportions of Rocksteady's Arkham City before emphasizing Batman's sheer strength, and ultimately, snapping from all the mercy in his justice over the years. It has more intense episodic moments rather than one strong storyline, unlike Part 1, but is a darker, more faithful iteration of Batman.
