I never thought an animated adaptation of "the dark knight returns" would ever happen, let alone be good. but to have it be good not only once (part 1) but twice (part 2) is astounding. fantastic film.
.. easily, one of the best batman films ever made. i'm just so surprised that it exists. to have it be awesome if simply icing on top of the cake!
