I have a new favorite Batman animated movie. Capturing visually and thematically Frank Miller's graphic novel, This is a gritty, violent, darker Batman to a much darker Gotham, one that will not yield with a spank, but from the pain of their broken bones in the hands of a relentless force of justice.
