Absolutely stupendous. These animated films overfill me with an unusual joy I haven't felt since I got my first bike.
From the very beginning you are introduced in a somewhat futuristic gloomy noir(ish) Gotham ruled by new blood with the same agendas as most of the criminasl. Kill, murder, mayhem and so on. And since Batman is "retired" they have their way.
Somehow...Bruce rekindles his inner Bat and embraces his alias again, at such a "modest" age still strong and fearless, once again becomes an icon of hope. The morale is simple and we all know it and I personally knew this since I was younger, there can NEVER be a Gotham without Batman.
Since there are no more decent animations on tv, at least I still have these DC animated films.
The drawing the background music and the plot are all amazing. The dialogues, cold and rather short (short meaning here...smart). I dunno, I got no words, simply amazing. Enjoy!
