The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 is a brilliant adaptation of the popular comic book story. It is a lot darker and more grown than most animated movies of the same genre. The story has been meticulously put together, leaving behind anything cheesy.
The attention to detail makes the story seem almost believable, considering the aging Batman and female Robin. The ending leaves you eagerly anticipating Part 2 of what is sure to be a mind blowing finish to this spectacular series.
