By far the best of the direct to DVD DC Comics animated movies that I've seen. Some of the scenes really work well. Brings back the great experience I had when I was 18 and read The Dark Knight Returns for the first time.
It's hard to overstate how much impact the one- two punch of The Dark Knight and Watchmen had on comics when they were first published in 1986.
