This is the best Batman animated film to date. I love every minute of this film. Not only does this film do justice to the comic, but it does justice to the character of batman. Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1 is what the Dark Knight Rises should have been.
ten years after an aging Batman has retired, and Gotham City has sunk deeper into decadence and lawlessness. Now, when his city needs him most, the Dark Knight returns in a blaze of glory. I can't say this enough this is a perfect batman film.
I can't wait for Part 2.
