Review of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1 (2012) by Gregory H — 16 May 2013
Based off the 1986 graphic novel of the same name. Animation or not, this is a fantastic and violent story of an older Batman after he has been retired for 10 years. All of the Batman movies from 1989 until now have taken ques from this graphic novel.
Worth a watch if your a Batman fan.
