A fine, entertaining movie if you take it for what it is, and that is "The Tim Burton Show featuring Batman vs. the Penguin and Catwoman". Dark, moody, funny if a little campy, and a fascinating exploration of the characters (well, the villains anyway).
Danny De Vito kills it as the Penguin (Ã la Tim Burton), and Michelle Pfeiffer is a knockout as Catwoman. And Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/Batman, for the maybe forty-five minutes or so of screen time he gets in this movie, would've been better if only he had been explored as thoroughly as the villains.
if you hate this movie because it completely butchers the Batman characters and lore, that's fine, I understand where you're coming from. i'm just saying, for my purposes, it works just fine.
