Review of Batman Returns (1992) by Calan P — 09 Feb 2014

Batman Returns like the first Tim Burton Batman film, has great visuals and score. Unfortunately, it lacks a compelling story and has too many villains. Some characters are great like the Penguin played by Danny Devito; some aren't like Christopher Walken playing Max Shreck, (his character is really boring).

Not many action scenes are in this movie, which I would be fine with if it the movie had interesting dialogue. Like the first Batman film, I was bored with this film about an hour in. Batman Returns isn't as good as The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, or Batman, but still has some redeeming qualities.
