Review of Batman Returns (1992) by Stefan P — 02 Mar 2015
Uneven and gloomy but otherwise hugely entertaining and intriguing sequel to the 1989 blockbuster that I love so much. A few parts feel hollow in this second instalment, but like most movie goers and critics, I do think there is indeed more interesting personalities within these well-written characters consisting of DeVito's Penguin, Pheiffer's Catwoman, and last but not least Walken's Max Shreck (nice homage there, Burton).
