Review of Batman Returns (1992) by Nick C — 23 Jul 2012
Tim Burton directed Batman Returns like, well Tim Burton, a dark (darker than the first in some ways) forbidding atmosphere that always fits the Dark Knight. Michael Keaton was still brilliant as Batman and Michelle Pfeiffer makes a sexy, amussing Catwoman.
Even though I was never a fan of the Penguin as a character, I still praise Danny DeVito's performance. Overall, a good film, but didn't live up to the Jack Nicholson showing of the Caped Crusader.
