Review of Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders (2016) by Justin P — 05 Nov 2016
The art direction is a little untrue to the series. It's all very dark when it should be an experience in oversaturation. And Adam West and Julie Newmar just sound tired. They try their hardest and it's nice to have them back in the roles, but it's kind of saddening to hear. Burt Ward sounds exactly the same though.
A fun watch though. The tone of the script is spot-on. The writers nailed the ridiculous twists and turns the series relied on to further their tales (and sneak in some clever nods to Bat-lore throughout the years).
