Batman: The Animated Series remains THE ideal Batman in film or television. Mask of the Phantasm is, in my opinion, the best thing to come out of it, which says a lot. It's too bad the Phantasm character pretty much ceased to exist after this movie aside from some random references in Batman Beyond.
An excellent movie and an excellent portrayal of the Dark Knight.
