If you're a Batman fan and you were dissapointed with Joel Schumacer's (spelling?) movies, then you should give this movie a chance. It's one of the best films of the franchise. Just like the animated series (one of the best cartoon shows EVER), this film has a dark plot and great character development.
And you even get to see Bruce Wayne's life in flashbacks when he was becoming the Dark Knight. Excelent film. I give it a 5/5.
