I think a lot of Bat fans would agree with me that the 90s Animated Series, under the direction of Bruce Timm and crew, is easily the coolest and most badass incarnation of The Dark Knight. That being said, this Big Screen adventure is only okay.
I love seeing Mark Hamillâ??s Joker get to be a little extra sicko and violent and I dig the glimpses of Batsâ?? originâ?¦but, Iâ??m not crazy about the Phantasm villain. Heâ??s Batman only more vengeancey.
Still, it gets a lot more right than some of those live action flicks. VF.
