Review of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993) by Edgar T — 21 Jul 2010
Pathos is what this film radiates from one dimension of its plot, and its what stands out to me a I feel so sad after watching it.
It tells its story so well the characters that get the most focus are either moderatly endearing or very endearing.
Aside from a few oddities within one character portrayal and some weirdness in some circumstance or so, the movie was well done.
The aesthetics are nice for what was invisioned, but personal preference will guide whether or not you find said aesthetics captivating.
This is a great movie.
