Review of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993) by Sam C — 24 Dec 2011

Batman: Mask Of The Phantasm is a great movie based of one my favorite TV shows and proves that it's not just for kids. Batman: Mask Of The Phantasm is about Bruce Wayne/Batman who is out to stop a new threat, the Phantasm who is out in Gotham City killing mob bosses.

Also during this movie it shows flashbacks of Bruce in his early love life and how he started to become The Dark Knight. Growing up as a kid I always loved Batman The Animated series and when they made a movie I was really excited.

After seeing it I thought it was a great movie and doesn't fail to entertain Batman fans. Because of it's animation it may seem like a kid movie but it not because of it's story. The story is can be a bit complicating for little kids and a bit serious for kids but it can be enjoyed by adults and maybe some kids.

This is one of the best Batman's and is definitely better than both of Joel Schumacher's Batman films. the animation is also very well done and is some of the best out there like the TV show. This movie also has some good scenes were it gets really exciting and some good action scenes as well.

This also has the great voice acting that the TV show has by Kevin Conroy who makes a great Batman, Mark Hamill who is one of the best Jokers, and a new voice actor to Batman Dana Delany who is great as Bruce's love.

Batman: Mask Of The Phantasm is a great addition to the Batman movies and one of my favorite animated movies.
