Review of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993) by Ruly R — 26 Aug 2012
An insightful, engrossing, and heartbreaking look at the humanity of Bruce Wayne and his alter ego, Batman. It is indeed superior to all other feature-length adaptations of the caped crusader in the 20th century, and on the same level as the Christopher Nolan "Dark Knight" trilogy.
However, some might argue it is superior to even Nolan's works. Nevertheless, a masterpiece.
