Review of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993) by Sean N — 02 Sep 2012
A film far ahead of it's time. A true triumph... Not only in it's breathtaking animation, but for it's ingenious story, and bold mature themes. The animated series was already a hit; this took it a step further that trumps any of the original four Batman and rivals any entry in Chris Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy.
Simply outstanding for an animated feature.
