Review of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993) by Chris R — 10 May 2013
An animated epic that outdoes the Burton films before it, 'Mask of the Phantasm' shows that your kid's favorite Saturday morning cartoon can be so much more. With this film, you see depth, heart, and genuine feeling for the people and situations in the film.
The only shame about this film, is that no one saw it in theaters almost dooming it to obscurity. Thankfully, comics fans are fond of their Batman and I salute them.
