Review of Batman: Gotham Knight (2008) by Clare B — 03 Oct 2008
Serves as transition piece between Begins and The Dark Knight. There were a few big problems. The short story method was nice, but ultimately made each episode more like a parable than anything else, each would have been better off without the philosophical musings .
Also, the writers forgot to explain how exactly Bruce Wayne got so gay since Batman Begins. Simply put, the Japanese anime style didn't service his normally manly features well. the artists thought it would be a good idea to give him a playful shock of black hair draped across his forehead.
Who says Mr. Wayne isn't allowed to look good, I mean, he isn't just a bat you know, he's got a human dimension, too. humans have basic needs, like well styled hair.
