Review of Batman: Gotham Knight (2008) by Paddy H — 01 Jan 2013
Normally I don't like it when countries use other countries intellectual properties, but Batman Gotham Knight is a completely different case. I thought it was very respectful of the source materials it was working with, and the animation was superb.
That's Studio Gonzo for you. The same people who brought us great animes like Basilisk, Afro Samurai, Desert Punk and Romeo X Julliet. This isn't the first time Gonzo used a franchise originated in the US though.
G.I. Joe Sigma 6 was god awful, but this Batman OVA more than redeems them for it.
