Review of Batman: Gotham by Gaslight (2018) by Bradley N — 05 Feb 2018
Bruce Greenwood is back as Batman and it's a delight. The plot is somewhat faithful to the original graphic novel but the Rippers identity has been changed from the comic because apparently nobody would believe that Bruce Wayne has an 'uncle'.
The Rippers identity was unexpected as hell though and maybe exceeds the revelation of original graphic novel. While many here seem to being complaining about the animation being odd, they seem to be missing the point that the art style is adapting that of the graphic novel, so I have no complaints about it.
Overall, a great Batman movie.
