Batman Forever is a movie that doesn't understand it's source material. Gotham City is bright and colorful when it should be dark, Two Face feels like the Joker from the 1960's Batman show.
Batman Forever feels like a cheesy cartoon instead of a dark adaption. On a positive note Val Kilmer is good as Batman, but the film around him fails on many levels.
