Review of Batman Forever (1995) by The J — 13 Apr 2015
Eh. No where near as timeless as Burton's movies. But Val Kilmer is decent enough as Batman, Dr. Meridian is surprisingly intelligent, and it has its charming moments. The villains really kill the atmosphere though.
They're hilarious, but I didn't see Two-Face and the Riddler; all I saw was TLJ and Jim Carrey being obnoxious. Still, it's entertaining enough as its own movie. And I'll give them credit: they gave Robin's ridiculous outfit a satisfying origin.
