Batman Forever shot the franchise in the stomach, but did not finish it off. A semi-decent performance by Jim Carey as the Riddler provided enough to keep a person from leaving, but the movie as a whole is a worthless pile of garbage that is as painful to your life as being stabbed in the side. A waste of time you will never get back.
