Considering they brought back Batman's greatest villain, I was expecting a lot more. The way the Joker returned was interesting, but not the cool twist I was hoping for. Also the plot just felt flat and uninteresting for most of the film.
Although it was cool to see how the flashbacks served as a sort of epilogue for the original series. Plus they finally explained Terry's motivation for being Batman, something they should've done way earlier in the series.
