Review of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (2000) by Rob B — 17 Jul 2011
The new Batman is kind of a let down. He's a little boy in a poorly designed costume. And to me, Bruce Wayne is Batman. Verbatim. Anyone else should be called by a new name. Anyway, that aside, this is actually a thoroughly entertaining, sometimes disturbing, romp through a futuristic Gotham City.
Some of Joker's plots in this are truly diabolical, especially for a "kid's" animated film. It is intense, sometimes brilliant stuff.
