Review of Batman: Assault on Arkham (2014) by Syed R — 05 Aug 2014

Once again DC animated made another sub-par film. It's not as horrible as JL War, but it's on the level of Son of Batman. The amateur writing/dialogue is what made it worse, it's like if they asked a dude on the internet to write a script.

Having dubstep as your score was an awful choice, even if they want to portray this as "edgy". I know the it's the Suicide Squad, but it doesn't mean they have to be edgy for edgy sake, Justice League Unlimited did this sh** way better.

And this feels like a generic direct to video horror film. Also this movie adds to my unnatural hate for the Joker. I love the Joker but my god, but stop it already. I will say the only thing I enjoyed in this was the design of Arkham from the game.

They got all the locations down pretty good.
