Even though it's called "Batman: Assault on Arkham", the story focuses more on Deadshot and the members if the Suicide Squad. That fact alone actually provides for a refreshingly different take on the Batman world.
Instead of just writing the bad guys off as crazy, we get to see a bit more of their character and motivations. This movie might be animated, but make no mistake, it is definitely not for kids, unless your kids are into implied nudity and the occasional exploding head.
In that case, I think you have a very different issue on your hands.
