Through its mindless fun, Batman and Robin masterfully brings humor, color and emotional weight to a gloomy and joyless character with gleefully over-the-top performances from Uma Thurman and Arnold Schwarzenegger while containing the amusement of a comical George Clooney.
The film gets extra points for its abundance of Dutch angles.
