Review of Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero (1998) by Kris L — 05 Apr 2011
I didn't quite enjoy this as much as Mask of the Phantasm, but it's still much better than what you're getting on TV nowadays as far as Batman goes. The plot is very serious and Mr. Freeze is such a great villain in this flick.
You get a good idea of where he's coming from and that makes him a more human character than many other villains. My only real complaint is the use of CGI. This is a huge problem with many bigger budgeted animated movies, because it just doesn't fit the look the movie tries to convey in every other frame.
Ignoring that, a great film.
