Review of Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero (1998) by Murder C — 05 Jul 2008

Mr. Freeze (Michael Ansara) needs to find a organ donor to save his dying wife, problem is that she has a rare blood type and at the moment the only one that has this blood type is Barbara Gordon (aka Batgirl) (Mary Kay Bergman).

Freeze kidnaps her and now Batman (Kevin Conroy) and Robin (Loren Lester) must save her before it's too late. While the 1997 live action movie "Batman & Robin" directed by Joel Schumacher made both Batman and Mr.

Freeze into total jokes, "SubZero" puts the record straight and gives the 'cool' villain the credit he deserves. It's not nearly as great as the previous animated Batman movie "Mask Of The Phantasm" but still really good and worth seeing for all Batman fans.
