Review of Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero (1998) by The Critic ( — 05 Aug 2012
An open ended ending for one of the best origin stories for villains ever. After the Emmy win for the episode of the show it was hard to deny having Mr. Freeze as a movie villain. The movie followed the same format as the first film, just an hour long episode.
I am not a fan how the Batcave and certain scenes were done in a different animation, it wasn't consistent and took away from the movie. The story is alright, but could have served as an episode and not a film.
The ending was nice to finally see something become of Nora Freeze but you can tell Victor wouldn't walk away an would immediately want to be with her after trying to save her for so long.
