Typical Tim Burton atmosphere and a stereotypical outlandish plot, but still a good movie. Michael Keaton is great as Batman, easily the best of the 3 actors in the original series. Jack Nicholson is a great Joker, showing the a certain degree of insanity.
Dark enough for the time and the Batman of the era, a great start for the series.
