Review of Batman (1989) by Alvin A — 31 May 2013
Watching this Tim Burton's batman feels like a nostalgia with the animation version. It really can not be compared with the Nolan's version. This one feels old with no development of each characters even the Bruce Wayne.
Jack Nicholson as joker is really the one who made the most effort and lift up the movie. No one can compare his strange laugh. Though if it compared with Heath Ledger's joker, this one feels too cartoonish.
Micheal Keaton as the Batman is one of the miscast I've ever seen. He didn't play bad actually, but his appearence do not look like that he deserve to play as Batman. After all, for old movie this Batman is watchable with simple story line and entertaining.
