This did not meet my expectations. I thought the character development was very flat, The Joker overshadowed Batman, and the plot was painfully rushed and simplified. But I was still entertained by the action sequences and special effects, and Michael Keaton was great.

So while I think it's my least favorite of all the Batman films I've seen, I still consider it a fairly decent film.
