More surrealistic than Nolan's Batman trilogy but just as dark, Tim Burton's 1989 Batman movie is still very enjoyable after all the other Batman films we've seen since. Michael Keaton plays a great Bruce Wayne and Batman, and even though Jack Nicholson may not impress as many as Heath Ledger did as the Joker, he still fits the role very well.
