Review of Bastard (2015) by Keith C — 05 Nov 2015
A refreshing take on the slasher genre with really interesting, unique and at times hilarious characters that were portrayed perfectly by the actors and especially the female actors who were on point throughout.
The score is reminiscent of old slasher movies yet brings it's own eeriness to the table along with some truly gut wrenching moments that won't be forgotten for a long time. The length of the film also helps to contain the build up of the intensity right to to the final twist without any unneeded scenes.
