Review of Basquiat (1996) by Codie E — 16 Jul 2007
A very poorly directed and judged film, which is very suprising from Schnabel as Before Night Falls is a tremendous film. This just has something very TV movie about it which should not be the case considering the array of talent in the film.
Most of the performances are good with the exceptions of Dennis Hopper and David Bowie, who is quite frankly diabolical as Andy Warhol.
