As irritating as david bowie's warhol voice is (okay, it's not THAT bad, but it's annoying enough. love you anyway, david), jeffrey wright is so great as basquiat, especially in the more reflective and emotional scenes.
love the surfer motif played throughout, made the ending especially strong.
