Review of Basquiat (1996) by Hilary G — 27 Dec 2008
This movie was good, but a little disconnected or something. And the fantasy bits were.. confusing. Overall, though, the acting was excellent (and yay for a movie where Gary Oldman is not the bad guy AND does not die).
Oh, and David Bowie's portrayal of Andy Warhol was really strange. Totally talked like Napoleon Dynamite. I can't help wondering how accurate it was.. I mean, he did meet the guy.
