This is just classic crappy b-movie horror. The acting is bad, but that's to be expected with this type of movie, and the gore is bad and unrealistic looking, but that's also to be expected. It does have a decent plot though, albeit a bizarre one, and some very memorable scenes as well.
You could really call it a 'good movie', but it is a cult classic.
