Review of Basket Case (1982) by Johan S — 02 Aug 2011

I've probably REALLY misunderstood this movie, but it struck me as a pretty terrible horror movie. I mean... should it MATTER if the laughs are intentional or not? It's badly made, filmed, acted, written, the props are ridiculous, and the only redeeming factor is the hilarity you are sure to experience as you watch this sub-sub-par flick unfold. I laughed. I was not scared... ever. I guess I was expecting something different. I can't honestly say this is a good movie, and I can't guarantee you'll have a good time. Watch it with friends. That'll probably help.
