Review of Basic Instinct (1992) by Alex S — 16 Oct 2013
There were a lot of problems throughout the movie and no one is going to deny that. However, it was surprisingly intense and the ending is what makes the movie. I'm not usually too big a fan of the actors in this, but they did a pretty good job of keeping the movie unpredictable.
The script was bland and stereotypical, but aside from that and a couple other minor problems, Basic Instinct is an entertaining, titillating thrill-ride.
