Review of Basic Instinct (1992) by Lasse C — 16 Dec 2013
The problem with this movie is that the scene that everyone talks about- the scene where Sharon Stone shows her ho-ha, happens way too early in the film. Everything that happens after is just a disappointment. Stone's Tramell is spellbinding, and you really do get off trying to find out if she's the killer; not who the killer is, rather if SHE is the killer. The screen isn't alive without her, it is quite dull, and then you've seen her ho-ha and nothing else matters! Its just boring filler. Its Sharon Stone at her best!
This review was so much better the first time I posted it!
